
“Imagine yourself six months from now” I just saw this quote the other day, and it reminded me that it’s fantastic advice for ANY goal in your life.
One of the things that’s helped me through numerous challenges in my life, from personal, to fitness and anything in between is a variation of this quote. “Everything is temporal”. When life has thrown you to the ground and is tap-dancing all over your face, remember that everything passes, including this challenge. When you’re in the gym, and you think “I can’t” remember this quote, and ask yourself what it’s going to take to get you where you want to be (You do have your goal firmly fixed in your mind right?). Push on and do what it takes to make your life extraordinary.
so right! I was having a down exercise mood, and then thought, ‘the improvements have been good over the past couple of months, what will I see and feel in myself in another three months?’ that spurred me on! great post as ever 🙂
