
Sometimes it can seem hard to find things in life to be grateful for. In our culture where we truly have so much, we take for granted the air in our lungs, the food in our bellies, the friends in our lives, or the roof over our heads.
If you find yourself truly feeling like you have nothing to be thankful for, ask yourself: Am I getting in my own way? Are you keeping yourself from reaching out to friends and family out of pride, or ignoring the things you have because you’re so focused on the things you don’t have?
Thursday is Thanksgiving in America, take this time to count the blessings in your life, be thankful for what you have, and reach out to those you care about – especially the ones your pride may be keeping you from reaching out to.
