The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen

The quote “The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen” is pretty cliched, but at the same time, very true! We all have days where we just aren’t feeling it. Sometimes, we let that feeling creep into not only our workouts, but other areas of our lives as well.

Pushing yourself doesn’t only mean lifting the heavier weight, or running the extra mile, it means making yourself hit the gym, even when you don’t feel like it – especially when you don’t feel like it.

By pushing yourself even if your heart’s not into it, you’re at least taking control and doing something. That one simple act shows you that you can take control of your life, in many aspects, not just the gym – even when you don’t feel like it.

So go ahead, have that bad workout, slack off on the amount of weight you’re lifting, run a little less, just push yourself to do your best. By that measure, there is no such thing as a “bad workout”.
